Acupuncture may boost IVF pregnancy rates by 65%
This was the conclusion of a recent study published in the British Medical Journal. Researchers from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in the US based their findings on the results of seven separate trials involving 1,366 women in four different countries.

We start by exploring together the physical and emotional wellbeing of both partners. General energy levels, diet and sleep patterns, body temperature, stress, circulation – these are just some of the factors that affect your chances of success.
I then propose an acupuncture regime designed specifically for you, which may include dietary recommendations, relaxation techniques or an exercise programme. This is a team effort, however and you have an active say in your treatment. You remain in control.

Length of treatment
Ideally I like to meet you 6-8 weeks before your IVF begins. However, it's never too late and I can treat couples up to a few days before egg collection.
Many clients continue with treatment after conception. Having experienced the benefits of acupuncture, they appreciate its beneficial effects in continuing to promote and maintain the health and wellbeing of both mother and child.
